Bambaia (Agostino Busti) was influenced by Giovanni Cristoforo Romano. Gaston de Foix died in the Battle of Ravenna in 1512. He was a French hero and the nephew of Louis XII. He controlled Milan briefly with Gian Giacomo Trivulzio in 1511. The effigy comes from an unfinished tomb.
