The building of the church dedicated to Santa Maria delle Grazie was begun in 1449. The graceful portico was added in 1478 by Benedetto da Maiano. The portico is a masterpiece of early Renaissance lightness and grace, with seven arches resting on slender Corinthian columns.
The church is situated on the outskirts to the south of Arezzo.
