The decoration of the barrel vault of the chapel represents Heaven. It is divided into two parts by a decorative band. In the centre of each part there is a large tondo containing the Blessing Christ, and the Virgin and Child, respectively. Around these images there are four smaller tondi, representing three prophets and St John the Baptist around Christ, and four other prophets around the Virgin and Child.
