The tomb of Antonio Carafa, a Neapolitan nobleman called Malizia (died 1438), designed by Jacopo della Pila and sculpted in part by his workshop, demonstrates the customary inclusion of the trio of Virtues (Justice, Temperance and Prudence) bearing the sarcophagus in a tomb.
