Adoration of the Shepherds and Adoration of the Magi

These anonymous panels - in original frame - with the Adoration of the Magi and the Adoration of the Shepherds were based on well-known compositions by Hugo van der Goes and Gerard David. In their hints of Dürer and the shape of their architectural motifs, however, they announce the beginnings of a new, diffident spirit.
