The Neuegebäude Palace in Vienna was Maximilian II's greatest artistic project. The Palace can be attributed to Jacopo Strada, and it is the high point of Strada's activity. The characteristic of the Neuegebäude is the combination of the architecture and the gardens. The project remained unfinished after the death of Maximilian II.
