The statues from the facade of Siena Cathedral have been removed from their original positions, and are at eye level in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Siena.
The picture shows the figure of a Sibyl from the façade of Siena Cathedral. When the figures are wrested from their context on the façade, their motivation is no longer evident. The Sibyl seems originally to have been balanced by a lost figure of Daniel to the left.
