The monument was formerly in the church of San Pedro de Ocana, near Aranjuez, Spain. In Gothic times sculptural works in Spain were no more than provincial versions of the current international French style. This is reflected in the monument to Don Garcia Osorio, which was executed in the Siloe workshop.
