The left panel of the triptych made for the cloister of Santa Maria Nuova at the Forum Romanum in Rome is in the Budapest museum. It represents St Nemesius and St John the Baptist. The other two panels are in the Fogg Art Museum in Cambridge, Mass. The predella pictures below the left panel show the martyrdom of the represented saints. This painting is one of the predella pictures showing the beheading of St John the Baptist. The forms, the decorative lines and the colours demonstrate the influence of the Sienese trecento.
