The south transept portal, the Portal of the Lamb, at San Isidoro is decorated with a series of sculptured plaques assembled at random above the archivolts; its tympanum, perhaps also of reused material, reveals the sculptor's clumsy effort to adapt this semi-circular surface to its monumental role. On each side of the arch are statues, one of Saint Isidoro, the other of Saint Vincent, his feet resting on a corbel decorated with the head of a bull. The figure is modelled with a strong three-dimensionality, characteristic of early Spanish Romanesque sculpture.
