The picture shows a detail of the archivolt of the south portal of the church of Santa María in Uncastillo (Zaragoza), which was started in 1135. Instead of a tympanum, this portal has an archivolt comprising several arches, and on it the unknown master depicted numerous secular scenes with examples of crude excesses and acts of violence.
