After the loss of a number of leaves, this manuscript has only eight large full-page miniatures set in arched frames and surrounded by borders decorated with flowers as well as animals and human figures.
On folio 171v, reproduced here, several episodes from the story of Susanna from the Old Testament Book of Daniel is depicted.
The manuscript was produced in a Parisian workshop in the 1470s.
