Three almost life-sized figures of the prophets Hosea, Daniel and Jonah survived from an original set of twenty-two in the cathedral of Augsburg in southern Germany.They have an hieratic, geometric appearance, with a dominant green-red contrast, and they wear the distinctive pointed hats of medieval Jews.
