CACCIA, Italian family of painters

Guglielmo Caccia, called il Moncalvo, was a prolific Piedmontese painter in the first quarter of the 17th century. Her daughter Orsola Maddalena Caccia was a nun in a Moncalvo convent, who assisted him on a number of his late paintings, but she painted also independent religious paintings and still-lifes.
