I have a question for you. I have to believe is a possible of Lubin Baugin's Still-Life with Chessboard(The Five Senses). It is in an almost perfect condition with an exception of a few glitches on the front of the possible print. I had acquired it at Women's Guild Thrift/Yard Sale on the Chautauqua Institute in Chautauqua, Ny. I had only paid $15 for it. On the back although are some curious markings. For one there is some lettering and some numbering. I can't read the lettering but the numbering says 76.....5.... and there is also a descrpition saying what it is. This says what I said above, that it is by Lubin Baugin. His last name is printing or etched on the front below the music book amnd mandolin. I have got an Alter piece depicting the full Passion of Christ. The back of the side panels are an Angel and the second one is lady with a dove overhead. The frame is Oak, and the centre bottom panel has a bone or ivory piece with Hans Mennering 1491. Have there been many copies of this Alter piece made?.
