Adoration of the Magi

On several occasions Jan de Bray used his drawn copies as the basis for painted adaptations of his own compositions, sometimes painted over a decade later. He made a drawn copy after this painting, too, which was in 1674 used for a much larger painting on canvas, now in the Historisches Museum, Bamberg.
