The loggia in the Palazzo Balbi Senarega was closed for saving the frescoes representing the Olympian gods, painted by Valerio Castello on the ceiling vault. The result is a very long, narrow gallery, whose highly animated assembly of deities seems much too large for the space, despite fragment of quadratura.
