The Revelation of St John: 8. The Battle of the Angels

The sixth trumpet (Rev. 9:13-19) released the four angels of death and their cavalry whose horses had lions' heads that breathed fire, and serpent-headed tails. (Watched by God in heaven the angels with drawn swords slay pope, emperor and commoner.)
