Scenes from the Life of Mary Magdalen: Raising of Lazarus

If we compare theRaising of Lazarus from the Paduan cycle with that from the Magdalen Chapel then we can at once recognize the common features which cause some scholars to assume that this is the work of Giotto's own hand. Others think that this is a slavish imitation of the master. The debate is not yet closed.
