The Lemoyne family, Jean-Louis Lemoyne and his son Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne worked as portraitists. They produced equestrian statues for Bordeaux, Rennes and the Ecole Militaire. Jean-Baptiste was the official sculptor to Louis XV.
