Oil on panel, 83,7 x 68,8 cm
Museum voor Schone Kunsten, Ghent

This interesting, decorative triptych came from the former Wenemaer Hospice in Ghent, therefore the artist of the triptych is referred to as the Master of the Wenemaer Triptych. It is painted in a style related to 15th-century Ghent book illuminations. The centre panel depicts the Nativity, while the left wing the Circumcision, the right wing the Adoration of the Magi.
