The reconstructed altar in the Chapel of Leo X comprises the marble relief of the Madonna by Raffaelle da Montelupo, transferred from another place in Castel Sant'Angelo. The window of the chapel overlooks to the open court where Montelupo's Archangel Michael is placed.
