The group of Ugolino on The Gates of Hell was enlarged by Lebossé between 1901 and 1904, the modified group was cast after Rodin died, around 1925, and placed in the middle of the ornamented pool on the grounds of Hôtel Biron, the site of the Musée Rodin.
