This jewel-case designed in renaissance style was produced by the Sèvres factory. It is adorned by round porcelain plaques representing Poetry and Music, painted by Alexandre-Évariste Fragonard after the medallions created by Raphael for the vault of the Stanza della Segnature in the Vatican.
