The Grazing Ewe

Sand cast bronze, 15 x 22 cm
Private collection

This small statue is one of the seven bronze subjects that were exhibited in the artist's lifetime. She ceased sculpture in mid 1850's because she did not want to compete against her brother Isidore at the Paris Salons.
