Brusasorci (actually Domenico del Riccio) was a representative of Veronese Proto-Mannerism, based on Raphael, Parmigianino, and Giulio Romano. Berenson refers to Domenico's "purely painterly" interpretation, which he still developed before the Venetians. He had a great influence on the Veronese School through his pupils Zelotti, India, and Paolo Farinati.
