Pandolfo di Urbano Cattani, prior of the church of Sant' Andrea a Camoggiano, Barberino di Mugello, commissioned in around 1505 a hexagonal baptismal font constructed of six white glazed reliefs illustrating episodes from the life of St John the Baptist.
The relief of the Baptism of Christ was stolen from the church at some point before the 18th century. It is now in a private collection. The font, now with five panels, is preserved in the Museo d'Arte Sacra a Vicchio in Mugello.
