The candlestick was designed by Cristopher Dresser and manufactured by Richard Perry, Sons and Co. This company, set up by Richard Perry and his son George, was in Brickkiln Street, Wolverhampton. Father and son had both been japanners in the Old Hall works and struck out on their own.
