ERRI, degli, Italian family of painters

The family comprised several generations of painters, of whom the most important were the brothers Agnolo (Angelo) degli Erri (active 1442-1497 in Modena) and Bartolomeo degli Erri (active 1460-1479 in Modena), who worked together. It has proved impossible to distinguish the hand of each in individual works, most of which were commissioned from both of them and probably executed in collaboration.
