The vault of the rear section (west bay) of the room contains depictions of the three theological virtues: Fides in the south vault cell, Caritas in the west, Spes in the east, as well as Humilitas in the north. These figures appear in large tondi set within octofoil frames. Their coloration is reduced to grisaille.
