LE ROUX (LEROUX), French family of architects

Jacques Le Roux and his nephew, Roullant Le Roux, were successive Masters of the Works of Rouen Cathedral. While the work of Jacques summarized the deeply rooted traditions of Flamboyant architecture in Rouen, Roullant introduced Renaissance style to the city in his design of secular buildings such as the Bureau des Finances.
