Madonna of Humility (Trivulzio Madonna)

c. 1430
Panel
Castello Sforzesco, Milan

The painting (also called Trivulzio Madonna after the name of a previous owner) was probably executed for the Carmelites in Florence while he was living in the monastery. This assumption is supported by the presence of Carmelite saints around the Virgin.
