The picture shows a view of the fresco cycle with scenes from the legends of Sts Stephen and John the Baptist. The vault frescoes represent the Four Evangelists. The stained-glass window, with standing saints and the Assumption of the Virgin, was executed by Ser Lorenzo da Pelago, based probably on designs by Filippo Lippi.
