Brush, pen, greyish brown ink over pencil, 241 x 194 mm
Szépművészeti Múzeum, Budapest
In spite of the signature "Spekert" at the bottom centre of the drawing, this work is attributed to Karel van Mander. It is fully substantiated by the marked characteristics of the composition as well as the comparison with the artist's other drawings. Van Mander typically drew disproportionately small heads for his slender bodied figures with high foreheads and small chins.
On the verso of the sheet a sketch of Fugitives can be found.
