The people to the right of the fountain, now young and handsome, are busily putting on new, more attractive garments and proceeding on their way, either on foot or on horseback. Loving couples and aristocratic gentlemen and ladies on horseback fill the foreground of this scene. The procession moves off to the right, extending around the corner and up to the fireplace in the centre of the west end wall.
