Ernst von Reden (c. 1529-1589) was the Statthalter (ducal steward) in Lüneburg in Celle from 1572 to 1579. His portrait is attributed to the same hand as that painted the triptych Christ Blessing, Surrounded by a Donor Family in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
