General view

The temple is built after the antique Thesaion in Athens and was the first building in Vienna to be used exclusively as a museum: Antonio Canova's Theseus Fighting the Centaurs was originally exhibited here. Nobile used the classic Greek Doric Order here, as he also did with the Outer Burgtor.
