Martyrdom of St Catherine of Alexandria

One of the altarpieces in the right aisle of the Frari's Basilica is dedicated to St Catherine of Alexandria. The saint, subjected to torture on the wheel, is miraculously saved by an angel, and her executioners are killed by the broken wheel.
