Hôtel d'Estienne-de-Saint-Jean, Aix-en-Provence

The Hôtel d'Estienne-de-Saint-Jean is a private mansion, built in around 1671 by Pierre Puget. It became the Museum of Old Aix in 1932.

The façade of the building with fluted pilasters and Corinthian capitals gives the impression of a severe and sober wall. The present gate dates from the eighteenth century.

The photo shows the façade.
