Catalogue number: Benesch 466 recto. The two sides of this vellum shows landscapes, quick sketches made on the spot. On the recto, two cottages with thatched roofs are drawn on a road with a group of figures. Rembrandt used very rarely the technique silverpoint on vellum. | |
