The two bas-reliefs, the Deliverance of St Peter from Prison and the Crucifixion, are all that remains of two marble altars commissioned from Luca in 1439 for the Tribune of San Zanobi. The reliefs clearly shows the influence of Masaccio; the layout of the composition of Crucifixion of St Peter is based on the predella of the Pisa Altarpiece. | |
