Peter van Roy was a Flemish painter active in Austria. He was the teacher of Franz Anton Maulbertsch.

Johann Adam Andreas I von Liechtenstein (1657-1712) was one of the greatest builders and patrons of the Baroque in Central Europe. Educated on an extended grand tour to Germany, the Netherlands, England, France, and Italy, he devoted himself above all the many facets of art.
