The picture shows folio 132r, the first page of the Missae Votivae section. It contains text with a large historiated initial D depicting Saint Thomas the Apostle on a green background. A Votive Mass (Missa Votiva) is offered for a special intention. It does not correspond to the Divine Office for the day on which it is celebrated.
Saint Thomas was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He is commonly known as "doubting Thomas" because he initially doubted the resurrection of Jesus when he was told of it. He later confessed his faith on seeing the places where the wounds appeared still fresh on the holy body of Jesus after the Crucifixion.
