This manuscript was illuminated by a master (Master of the Harvard Hannibal, named after a miniature in a manuscript at Harvard University) who was perhaps a pupil of the Boucicaut Master, and seems to have headed a workshop in Paris between 1415 and 1420.
The miniature on folio 227r shows the owner kneeling before the Virgin and Child.
