The Creation story in the south cupola of the west narthex is followed on the walls and the adjacent vaults by additional scenes from the Genesis. The second cupola in the west narthex (the north or Abraham cupola) contains an Abraham cycle, which continues in the lunettes of the east and west walls.
The picture shows the mosaics in the north cupola depicting the story of Abraham.
