Moreruela Abbey, Granja de Moreruela (Zamora)

The construction of the Romanesque Cistercian abbey church of Moreruela was begun around 1170 and was completed in the first quarter of the thirteenth century. It is now ruined but there are many remains of it which show strong French influences.

The photo shows a view of the chancel and nave from south-east.
