Notre-Dame Cathedral, Lausanne (Vaud)

Lausanne Cathedral (begun 1160s) is the oldest Gothic cathedral outside France after Canterbury. The painting of the interior, still largely preserved gives Lausanne Cathedral a special space in the study of Gothic architecture.

The photo shows painted columns and arch.
