Refuge of Sint-Truiden, Mechelen

In the 16th century many convents built refuges in Mechelen. Several have disappeared but a few examples remained untouched. The refuge of Sint-Truiden, a shelter of the Order of Benedictine monks peeks out idyllically over the last remnants of Mechelen's little brooks.
