I have a picture that was given to me by my grandmother same as the "The Nativity" By Gerard David. Only mine says on the back "The Adoration of the Shepards" By Gerard David (died in 1523). This is a fabulous website which I've been using for years to source images for medieval/renaissance costume design. I didn't realise just how fabulous it was, though, till I used it for a MA (teacher librarianship) assignment comparing databases. Not only does this site have comprehensive and user-friendly search engines, but enables the development of information literacy through sources and suggestions for future research, and even encourages cross-curricular association through the music feature!
