I love everything about this wonderful website and visit it regularly. Most of all I love the way it reveals the beautiful details in paintings; just as a very random example, Veronese's Marriage at Cana, and various Botticellis and Fillipo Lippis.Especially the Virgin's brocade cloak in Lippi's Coronation of the Virgin in Spoleto.

This site is fantastic, I'm was trying to find information on a Anonymous, Crucifixion,c.800. (Tempera on wood panel) Santa maria del Antiqua, Rome, Italy.
